PAP Secretariat kicks off 2019 Staff retreat





The staff of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) has commenced its annual retreat in Johannesburg, South Africa. The five-day workshop aims to conduct a review of the 2018 activities as well as set organizational objectives for 2019.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Yusupha Jobe, Acting Clerk of the PAP, urged the staff to use this platform for a critical and candid assessment of 2018 work plans, while committing further efforts in achieving the objectives of the continental Parliament in line with Agenda 2063.

The 2019 staff retreat also provided the opportunity for the formal introduction of Mr. Patrice Koe Jr, newly appointed Chief of Cabinet/Director of Bureau. Mr. Koe, who assumed duty in December 2018, expressed his gratitude to all staff for the warm welcome and indicated his willingness to work with everyone to help advance the ideals of the PAP
